The Star

The Star is a tarot card which signals positive changes occurring in your life. Events from the past may have caused bad feelings which are beginning to fade away. The Star is a very potent symbol in witchcraft. The pentacle is emblematic of our highest aspirations. When we pursue our dreams we are aiming for the stars. 

The previous card in the tarot deck is The Tower which predicts chaotic events which completely disrupt our existence. The Star appears when we are moving away from this disruptive time and having a phase of renewal.

Optimism is essential at this stage of the game. You will need to believe that positive change can occur in order to facilitate it in your life. This is a time when you are about to get a fresh start. When we make a wish we are looking up to the heavens. We wish upon a star and this is the seed which can blossom into a completely reformed life. 

The Star is associated with the astrological sign of Aquarius. Aquarius governs the 11th house in our natal charts. It is said that the stronger the 11th house is in our birth chart, the better our chances for success will be.
